SUMMER SHIPPING POLICY: Due to increased temperatures in the summer months, we only ship our candles Monday through Wednesday to avoid your package sitting in a hot warehouse over the weekend. If you need to rush your order, please inquire with us directly so we can arrive at the best solution for both you and your purchase.

Please allow 3-4 business days for items to ship.

Once your order is processed and your package is picked up and scanned by the carrier, transit times typically range from 2-7 business day days, depending on the shipping method and delivery destination. 

You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as the label is created for your order, however, the tracking status of your shipment may take up to 72 hours once a label has been created. 

Once the package leaves our studio, unfortunately delivery is out of our hands. We cannot offer a refund or replace items for missing or stolen packages. If your package is missing through USPS, please reach out to them at (800) 275-8777. They will need your tracking number which can be found in your shipping confirmation email or text message.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will replace items that have been damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage to the item and the shipping box is submitted to within 7 days of delivery.

All returns must be postmarked within 14 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in be in new and unused condition, and labels attached.


We want you to love your Salt Town item so if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase we offer a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or free of damage, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return shipping costs are assumed by the buyer.

Refund Policy

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Please Note

  • A 10% restocking fee will be charged for all returns
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours. A refund will be issued minus any Shopify or other payment processing fees. 
  • If a shipping label has been created for an order, we regret that we cannot cancel the order.
